He Was Twelve Things I Can't Live Without (a Poem for Day Seven of PAD)

I'm tired, so I'm keeping this brief.
It's day seven of PAD. I wrote a poem. It's below the photo.
Here is the prompt from Poetic Asides:
It took an entire week to get to our first "Two for Tuesday" prompt this year, so I’m going to make it the one that I run every single year:
  1. Write a love poem. Yeah, I said a love poem, or, if you don’t like that option…
  2. Write an anti-love poem. I know there are some haters out there; go ahead and hate on love and/or love poems if that’s your thing."

He Was One Cloud in a Perfect Sky

He Was Twelve Things I Can't Live Without

(1)
He was an abandoned
mining town, his shoulders crumbling
mountains under a parched sun.

(2)
He was a castle with a rubber
slide that lovers hid inside
at 90 degree angles.

(3)
He put me together
each night and laid me
out before sleep.

(4)
He was the plaid
pants to my floral
camisoles.

(5)
He undid my ordinary,
and transformed me into
a quirky showcase.

(6)
He conceived art
with a pull
of my heart.

(7)
He was a luxurious
departure
from city life.

(8)
He was my battery
backup in a power
outage.

(9)
He was a kaleidoscope
of colors that refused
to blend.

(10)
He was the drama
in my mundane
space.

(11)
He turned me into a second
edition, and then donated
my body to the library.

(12)
He is the nights
I stay awake on the sofa
composing poems about love.
