It's the smell of fresh-baked bread when I wake, though know one is even up. It's the smile that quirks my lips when I see the maple candies that she enjoyed so much.

I don't believe the feelings ever go away. I think they only find deeper niches in our psyches from which to ambush us when we least expect it.

I so enjoyed this poem. I wish you a good memory anniversary, my friend.Claudette Younghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01323759000341863947noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3572792673441604901.post-69472729558773492462013-09-05T13:14:24.044-07:002013-09-05T13:14:24.044-07:00Thanks for sharing your beautiful poem.

For years I would find myself going to my painting studio and not being able to paint at all because I would just break into tears. After years the tears lessened and I was able to paint again and eventually I found myself incorporating material into my artwork that honored and carried on her spirit.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01463761899316722194noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3572792673441604901.post-16302944932665287362013-09-04T18:43:00.988-07:002013-09-04T18:43:00.988-07:00Beautiful Linda.
